This procedures simulates the performance of a membrane diafiltration unit. Diafiltration can be preceded and followed by batch concentration operations. In diafiltration, water or some other solvent or buffer is added to the retentate to facilitate the removal of membrane-permeating species along with the water (or other solvent) during filtration.

Special Inputs / Outputs

Diluant: the designated input port for the diluant.

Filtrate: the designated output port for the filtrate.
