This dialog appears when you click on the View/Edit button () on the Auxiliary Equipment Listing Dialog (when selecting Tasks } Other Resources } Auxiliary Equipment... from the main menu of the application) or, or in the Process Explorer Toolbar (Aux. Equipment tab).
The dialog, for any of the auxiliary equipment types, has five tabs (see below). Only the first tab may be different from type to type. The rest of the tabs show the same information for all auxiliary equipment types. In fact, even the “Oper. Cond’s” tab is common for the CIP skids, SIP panels and user-defined auxiliary equipment (see CIP: Oper. Conds Tab, SIP: Oper. Conds Tab). The Vacuum Pumps and the Transfer Panels have their own view with their own properties to display (see Auxiliary Equipment Properties Dialog: Aux. Equipment tab (Vacuum Pump) and Transfer Panel: Oper. Cond’s Tab).
The dialog contains the following two tabs:
● Auxiliary Equipment Properties Dialog: Aux. Equipment Tab for: CIP Skid, SIP Panel and User-Defined Aux. Equipment Type (for CIP skids, SIP panels and all user-defined auxiliary equipment types) or
Auxiliary Equipment Properties Dialog: Aux. Equipment tab (Vacuum Pump) (for Vacuum Pumps), or
Auxiliary Equipment Properties Dialog: Aux. Equipment tab (Transfer Panel)
This tab displays information on the auxiliary equipment, such as its description, type, size and usage.
● Auxiliary Equipment Properties Dialog: Purchase Cost tab (common to all auxiliary equipment types)
This tab displays information related to the cost of the equipment. It can either be set by the user or calculated based on a user-defined cost model. There are no built-in cost models for any of the built-in auxiliary equipment types. The assumed cost is 0.0 and users are responsible for either providing a cost figure or a user-define cost model to be used (based on the size of the unit) to estimate the cost of the unit.
● Auxiliary Equipment Properties Dialog: Consumables tab
From this tab you can associate consumables to be added to the operating cost whenever this unit is in action. This tab (and concept) is identical to the concept of consumables associated with the operation of main equipment.
● Auxiliary Equipment Properties Dialog: Scheduling tab: Displays timing and utilization information regarding the engagement of the auxiliary equipment by one or more operation during the execution of a batch.
● Auxiliary Equipment Properties Dialog: Comments tab: Offers a place to keep comments or notes related to this specific auxiliary equipment.
