This unit procedure can simulate filtration, cake, and drying in a Nutsche filter. Nutsche filters are commonly used in the synthetic pharmaceutical and specialty chemical industries to recover precipitated (or crystallized) products and remove suspended impurities from liquid solutions.

Special Inputs / Outputs

      Cake Removal: the designated output port for the cake.
