Clarification Procedure

A Clarification Procedure can be created by selecting the following menu option:

This unit procedure simulates removal of particulate components in a Clarifier. The removal efficiency is either calculated using an empirical model or specified by the user. The model can handle rigorous VOC emission calculations.

Special Inputs / Outputs

      Clarified Water: the designated output port for clarified water.

      Sludge: the designated output port for sludge.

The following operation types are currently supported in the context of this unit procedure:

      Hold, see Holding

Note that procedure Hold is only available in semi-continuous operating mode.
