This unit procedure simulates the separation of solid particles from liquid in a suspension using a hydrocyclone. Hydrocyclones are used widely as a substitute of centrifugation in mineral processing as well as in corn milling and other agricultural industries.

Special Inputs / Outputs

Overflow: the designated output port for the overflow (consisting mainly of liquid).

Underflow: the designated output port for the underflow (consisting mainly of particles).
