Tray Drying Procedure

Overview

A Tray Drying Procedure can be created by selecting the following menu option:
Unit Procedures } Drying/Granulation } Tray Drying

	Operating Mode	Batch/Semi-Continuous
	Host Equipment	Tray Dryer
	Emissions Port (Vent)	No
	Special Input/Output Ports	Yes

This unit procedure simulates drying of high value materials, such as pharmaceuticals and dyes, in a tray dryer.

Special Inputs / Outputs

●      Feed: the designated input port for the feed stream.

●      Air Input: the designated input port for the air stream.

●      Air Output: the designated output port for the air stream.

●      Output: the designated output port for the product stream.
