This unit procedure simulates removal of ionic species from water streams (demineralization). It can be used to model cation, anion, as well as mixed-bed ion exchange columns.

Special Inputs / Outputs

      Backwash: the designated input port for the backwash stream.

      Wash Output: the designated output port for the backwash stream.
