This tab is part of the Site Equipment Properties Dialog which is displayed when you choose to view or edit the properties of a site equipment resource in the Sites & Resources Databank Dialog or in the Site-Equipment Databank Dialog, and also, after you click OK on the New Site-Equipment Dialog.
Through this interface you can view/edit the following site equipment data:
● Equipment name (has to be non-empty and unique inside the site where the equipment belongs)
● Site (not editable)
● Description of the equipment. Can be empty and non-unique.
● Equipment Type (not editable)
● Material of construction (choices include material registered in the Designer and User databases)
● Equipment Specifications (the list includes only the system and user-defined specification variables that are available for the equipment’s type)
Checking the “Link to Vendor Equipment” check-box will enable the options to select a vendor equipment spec sheet and set the specifications of the site equipment to be identical to that.
● Vendor equipment (if any) according to which the site equipment was supplied (in that case the equipment specs will not be-editable). Once a Vendor Equipment is selected the vendor supplying this equipment is displayed and possibly its Manufacturer Equipment counterpart and Manufacturer if information is known.
