This dialog appears when you choose to add a new equipment to a site in the Sites & Resources Databank Dialog or in the Site-Equipment Databank Dialog.
You have to provide a non-empty name for the new equipment that must be unique for the site where it belongs, the type of equipment and the site. You may initialize its specifications with one of the following methods:
● Copy the specifications of another site equipment
● Initialize by copying data from another sit-equipment or another manufacturer/vendor spec sheet or initialize with default values common to all equipment of the same type
● Set according to some selected vendor equipment (implying that the site equipment was manufactured based on some manufacturer specification sheet or vendor equipment). In this case, the site equipment’s specifications are set to be identical to the selected vendor equipment and are not editable.

Depending on the interface from where this dialog is invoked, the selection of the equipment type and/or the site that will belong might or might not be editable. |

The options available in this dialog are for initialization purposes only. Upon clicking on the OK button, the Site Equipment Properties Dialog that comes up allows you to view and edit (if allowed) all the equipment’s specifications. |
