Vapor-Liquid Equilibrium Modeling

This appendix is dedicated to the thermodynamic fundamentals and numerical solution methods used in the context of the vapor-liquid equilibrium modeling in SuperPro Designer. In the first chapter, the calculation of the Thermodynamic Properties of pure components and mixtures is described. The Tutorial and Components and Mixtures chapters offer a brief summary of the Equations Of State (EOS) and Activity Coefficient Models supported by SuperPro for the calculation of thermodynamic properties. Finally, Chapter 4 sets the for the formulation of The Single-Stage Flash problem along with its numerical solution techniques.
