Tablet Coating Procedure

Overview

A Tablet Coating Procedure can be created by selecting the following menu option:
Unit Procedures } Formulation & Packaging } Tablet Coating

	Operating Mode	Batch/Semi-Continuous
	Host Equipment	Tablet Coater
	Emissions Port (Vent)	Yes
	Special Input/Output Ports	Yes

This unit procedure simulates the coating of tablets or other discrete entities using a Tablet Coater.

Special Inputs / Outputs

●      Air Input: the designated input port for air.

●      Coating Solution: the designated input port for the coating solution.

●      Tablets: the designated input port for the tablets.
