Double Cone Drying Procedure

Overview

A Double Cone Drying Procedure can be created by selecting the following menu option:
Unit Procedures } Drying/Granulation } Double Cone Drying

	Operating Mode	Batch/Semi-Continuous
	Host Equipment	Double Cone Dryer
	Emissions Port (Vent)	Yes
	Special Input/Output Ports	Yes

This unit procedure simulates drying of high value materials, such as pharmaceuticals and dyes, in a Double Cone Dryer.

Special Inputs / Outputs

●      Air Input: the designated input port for air.

●      Air Output: the designated output port for emissions.
