This tab appears on the interface dialog of the following operation:
● Membrane Adsorber (MA) Regeneration
The following table shows a brief description of the variables appearing in this tab. The table also displays their default values and their generally acceptable range:

The following list describes the available specification choices in this tab; for more details on how these are implemented, see MA Regeneration: Modeling Calculations.
•Buffer Flowrate Options...
If the Flowrate is set then you can choose among three different specification options: you can specify the buffer’s linear flowrate, or its volumetric flowrate, or its relative flowrate (in membrane volumes) in the membrane. Any variable that is not specified will be calculated by the program.
•Buffer Volume Options...
If the Volume is set then you can either specify the buffer’s absolute or relative volume (per batch cycle and per equipment unit). Any variable that is not specified will be calculated by the program.
•Regeneration Time Options...
You may choose whether process time is set or calculated. If the process time is set you have the option to specify either the buffer’s Volume (per cycle, per unit) or its Flowrate. If the process time is calculated then you must set both the Flowrate and the Volume.
•Composition of Inlet Stream...
To specify the composition of the regeneration buffer’s inlet stream, click on the Edit Composition button. That brings up the dialog of that stream and allows you to specify its composition. Please note that the flowrate of that stream will be adjusted by the program during simulation.
