Sections & Branches Toolbar

 

Will add the selected unit procedures (and any attached streams) to the active section (displayed in the active section listbox). This button is active only if some unit procedure(s) that do not belong to the current active section are selected. For more details see Add to Selected Section button.

Displays the name of the currently active section. All unit procedures created will be added to the active section.

Will bring up a dialog (see Section Properties Dialog or Branch Properties Dialog) that allows you to edit general properties (how yields are to be calculated, the color of all procedure icons etc.) of the active section or branch. For more details see Edit Section Properties command or Edit Branch Properties Command .

Will bring up the Resource Allocation Dialog that allows you to view all the resources currently employed by the operations owned by a section and assign or reassign them to specific site resource. For more details see Allocate Section Resources Command.

Will bring up a dialog (see Section-Level Capital Cost Parameters) that allows you to edit all the factors affecting the estimation of direct fixed capital (DFC) for the active section. For more see Section Capital Cost Adjustments command.

Will bring up a dialog (see Section-Level Operating Cost Parameters) that allows you to edit all the factor affecting the estimation of running (operating) cost of the active section. For more see Section Operating Cost Adjustments command.

Will create a new section. The newly created section will be appended to the string of sections currently held by the active branch (i.e. the branch showing in the branch listbox). For more see Create New Section.

Will delete the active section. The unit procedures and streams included in the active section will NOT be deleted; they will simply be transferred to the main section. Fore more see Delete Section command.

Will allow you to rename the active section or branch. For more see Rename Section Command or Rename Branch Command.

Displays the active branch. All sections created will be added to the active branch.

Will create a new branch. For more see Create New Branch command.

Will delete the currently active branch. All the sections included in the branch will be deleted too (the procedures and stream contained in these section will NOT be deleted but simply transferred to the main section. See Delete Branch Command.
