Energy Recovered Match Dialog
RecoveredEnergyMatchesDlg00108.jpg

This dialog is displayed once you click on the View/Edit button or double click on a row in the Operations Requiring Cooling (Heat Sources) table in the Energy Recovery Opportunities Dialog.

It basically displays info regarding the heat source (top left), a table with all the possible heat recipients (operations or heat transfer agents) and other options which can influence the energy recovery process. For more information on energy matching, see Energy Recovery and Creating Heat Matches.

Variable Definitions, Ranges and Default Values

The following table shows a brief description of the variables appearing in this dialog. The table also displays their default values and their generally acceptable range:

Energy Matching

The source operation can donate its heat either to an operation or to a heat transfer agent utility. For matching with an operation choose:

‘Match with operations requiring heat’ radio button and click on a row of the operation you wish to receive the energy.

For matching with a heat transfer agent select:

‘Match with heating agents’ radio button and then click on a row of the agent you wish to receive the energy.

Finally clicking on the Select button will save the changes and exit the dialog.
