Specification Choices / Comments

Checking the Show reduced consumptions (Reports, Utilization Breakdowns) of Heat Transfer Agents if energy matches exist checkbox will affect all heat transfer agent values reported in SuperPro.

The interface may expand if the Show Recipients of Energy Recovered button is clicked. The expanded dialog shows all recipient operations and heat transfer agents that need energy.

Creating Heat Matches

To create a link between a heat donor and a heat recipient you must first check the Recovered check box of the operation you wish to recover its heat. Then click on the View/Edit button or double click on the row of that operation. The following interface will appear which lists all possible heat recipients, either operations or heat transfer agents. By default the first time the dialog appears, it displays the list of cold operations, to view the heating agents click on Match with heating agents. It is possible to use the heat from one operation and match it with multiple heat recipient operations if feasible from the list. However only one heating agent can be matched to a hot operation (heat source). Also operations recipients of heat can be linked to only one source operation, whereas heating agents can be linked to multiple heat donors.
