UV Radiation Procedure

A UV Radiation Procedure can be created by selecting the following menu option:

This procedure is used to represent sterilization of liquid streams using UV radiation. It is commonly used in water purification processes. Transformation of organic and other compounds also can be accommodated. Any number of reactions in sequence can be specified by stoichiometry.

Operations

The following operation types are currently supported in the context of this unit procedure:

      Radiate, see UV Radiation

      Hold, see Holding

Note that operation Hold is only available in semi-continuous operating mode.
