This unit procedure can be used to represent continuous processing steps that are not explicitly available in the current version of SuperPro Designer. It can simulate material transformations (reaction) and / or simple pass through steps as well as flow or component splitting.
None.
The following operation types are currently supported in the context of this unit procedure:
● React, see Continuous Stoichiometric Reaction/Separation in a GBX
● CIP, see Clean-In-Place (CIP)
● Hold, see Holding
● SIP, see Steam-In-Place (SIP)
Note that operations CIP, Hold, and SIP are only available in semi-continuous operating mode.
The following procedures offer a similar functionality:
● Continuous 1x1 Pass Through Generic Box Procedure
● Continuous 1x1 Reaction in a Generic Box Procedure
● Continuous 2x2 Reaction/Separation Generic Box Procedure
● Continuous 3x2 Reaction/Separation Generic Box Procedure
