Pumping by a Peristaltic Pump Procedure
|
A Peristaltic Pump is used to represent an equipment resource used to host a pumping procedure with a main objective to transport fluids by peristaltic pumping. The procedure can be executed in a batch or continuous mode.
The default maximum power is 3000.0 kW. See also Centrifugal Pump: Equipment Tab.
In Calculate (Design Mode), the user specifies the Maximum Power and the system computes the Number of Units and the Power. See also Pumping (by Centrifugal Pump): Modeling Calculations.
In User-Defined (Rating Mode), the user specifies the Number of Units and the Power.
Equipment purchase cost is based on the total power consumed and material of construction.
