MembraneFilterConsumable.jpg

This property page is part of the equipment data dialog and can appear in the Microfilter, Ultrafilter, Reverse Osmosis Filter or the Diafilter equipment consumables tab.

Specification Choices / Comments

The top part of the interface refers to the required consumable usage of the all membrane filters (Microfilters, Ultrafilters, RO Filters, Electrodialyzers and Diafilters). The required consumable type is the ‘Filtration Membrane’ or in the case of the Electrodialyzer, the ‘Electrodialysis Memrane’. The user can choose among the consumables of this type registered in the user databank. By default, the ‘Dft RO Membrane’ is used for Reverse-Osmosis Filters and the ‘Dft Membrane’ is used for the Ultrafilter, Microfilter and Diafilter. The default selection for the Electrodialyzer is the ‘Dft ED Stack’. Notice that the various types of membrane filter consumables may have different reference unit basis, namely per item (e.g., Dft DEF Cartridge, Dft ED Stack) or per area (e.g., Dft Membrane, Dft ED Membrane). Cost/usage related properties are displayed on the right side. The user can only change the usage properties from this dialog, specifically the replacement frequency of the consumable. All other properties should be changed from the Consumables Databank Dialog by selecting Databanks / Consumables from the main menu.

The bottom part of the dialog ‘Other Consumables’ table, refers to additional consumables and it is the same as for any other equipment (see Equipment Data Dialog: Consumables Tab).
