Pumping by a Diaphragm Pump Procedure
|
A Diaphragm Pump is used to represent an equipment resource used to host a pumping procedure with a main objective to transport fluids by pumping caused by diaphragm movement. The procedure can be executed in a batch or continuous mode.
See Centrifugal Pump: Equipment Tab.
In Calculate (Design Mode), the user specifies the Maximum Power and the system computes the Number of Units and the Power. See also Pumping (by Centrifugal Pump): Modeling Calculations.
In User-Defined (Rating Mode), the user specifies the Number of Units and the Power.
Equipment purchase cost is based on the total power consumed and material of construction. It is supplied by the built-in model assuming as material of construction SS316 and with a minimum costing power of 200 Watts.
