When in connect mode, the mouse clicks and movement are used to define streams and stream elbows. For example, when you wish to start drawing an input stream, select the connect mode, then click on an empty area of your screen, then click whenever you wish to make a corner (elbow) for the stream and finally click on an unoccupied input stream of a procedure.
