Operating Mode

Continuous or Semi-Continuous

Host Equipment

Anoxic Reactor

Emissions Port (Vent)

Yes

Special Input/Output Ports

Yes

This procedure is used to represent transformations (primarily denitrification) that take place under anoxic conditions. Any number of reactions in sequence can be specified by stoichiometry.

Special Inputs / Outputs

Gas Output: the designated output port for VOC emissions.

Product: the designated output port for the reaction products.

Operations

The following operation types are currently supported in the context of this unit procedure:

Bio-React (Stoich.), see Stoichiometric Anoxic Reaction

      Hold, see Holding

Note that operation Hold is only available in semi-continuous operating mode.
