A 4-Way Flow Splitting (Discrete Flow) Procedure can be created by selecting the following menu option:

Continuous or Semi-Continuous

Host Equipment

Discrete Flow Splitter

Emissions Port (Vent)

This procedure can represent any scheme that splits four discrete flow streams, and cannot be modeled (or is not necessary to be modeled) in more detail.

None.

Operations

The following operation types are currently supported in the context of this unit procedure:

      Split, see 4-Way Flow Splitting (Discrete)

      CIP, see Clean-In-Place (CIP)

      Hold, see Holding

      SIP, see Steam-In-Place (SIP)

Note that operations CIP, Hold, and SIP are only available in semi-continuous operating mode.
