A Gasifier is used to represent an equipment resource that hosts a gasification procedure with a main objective to convert liquid/solid fuel (coal, biomass, etc.) into producer gas. The fuel reacts with oxidant (air or oxygen) and moderator (steam) to produce producer gas (a mixture consisting mainly of CO, H2, CH4, CO2 and water vapor) and liquid/solid waste (ash, unburned carbon, etc.).
For information on the equipment data interface, see Gasifier: Equipment Tab.
