A Condenser is used to represent an equipment resource typically used to host a condensation procedure with a main objective condense a gaseous stream into liquid. The condenser is basically a shell-and-tube heat exchanger, where the cooling water flows through the tube side and the steam enters the shell side where the condensation occurs on the outside of the heat transfer tubes. The procedure can be executed in a continuous or semi-continuous mode.
For information on the equipment data interface, see Condenser: Equipment Tab.
