Variable Definitions, Ranges and Default Values

The following table shows a brief description of the variables appearing in this tab. The table also displays their default values and their generally acceptable range:

Variable	Default Value	Range

○ Component Name Indicates the selected split component. Click on the list box to bring up a list of available components in order to select one.	<none>	Any Pure Component
○ Split % The percentage of a component that is split to the selected output stream.	0.0	0-100
● Total (%) The sum of the split percentages of a component.	0.0	0-100

Symbol Key: ○ User-specified value (always input); ● Calculated value (always output); ◙ Sometimes input, sometimes output

Specification Choices / Comments

This tab allows you to specify either total flow or specific component splits to the various streams exiting the vessel. First select whether you want to specify the total flow split or per component basis. Then set the split corresponding to each stream in the table. If you select per component basis you need to set the splits for all components. The sum of all splits must be 100%.
